Originally from Seattle, I've lived most of my life in the Gallatin Valley, having moved here with my parents when I was in grade school.  I graduated from Montana State University with a degree in exercise science and spent 10 years as a tennis professional at various clubs and resorts.  I returned to MSU in 1996, received a master’s degree in Professional Accountancy, and have held a license to practice in Montana since 2000.  After graduation, I spent four years as an auditor in the Billings Montana office of KPMG, LLP, a large international accounting firm, 12 years as a managing partner of a small tax and accounting firm in Big Sky, Montana, and four years with another small firm here in Bozeman.  I continue to provide clients with tax preparation, accounting, and consulting services in almost every industry when not looking for lost golf balls or harassing the local trout population.
